CIEO is a not-for-profit organization founded by 10 community organizations to expand economic opportunities for residents of the Greater Golden Mile.

Aecon–Golden Mile aspires to become one of the contractors of choice in the redevelopment of the Golden Mile area. The area along Eglinton Avenue East between Victoria Park and Birchmount alone will be redeveloped with over 75 towers containing more than 30,000 residential units and hundreds of thousands of square feet of retail and office space over the next few decades.

New – Aecon-Golden Mile (A-GM) has recently been identified as a ‘preferred vendor’ in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Kilmer Group and builder EllisDon for Hydrovac services.
Hydrovac trucks use high-pressure water to break ground and vacuum suction soil around underground utilities.
