Get Involved

You can help build a stronger, brighter GTA for all

Across our region, too many families and individuals are struggling to make ends meets and making hard decisions each day between paying rent or putting food on the table. But the care of people like you helps United Way Greater Toronto meet ongoing and emerging needs in our community, and work towards long-term solutions for a better tomorrow. Whether joining our community of donors, participating in a fundraising event, rolling up your sleeves and getting involved—you can make a real difference.

Why United Way?

Poverty is an enormous challenge with far-reaching effects. It is critical to work collaboratively with everyone from community partners to government to ensure we aren’t providing short-term solutions to long-term systemic issues. We want to meet the need with resources, infrastructure and networks to help people dealing with food insecurity, homelessness, and much more – and United Way helps enable that.
