A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a flexible, tax-efficient way to support United Way Greater Toronto in building a stronger GTA. Simply recommend a grant to us through your community foundation or financial institution.

Your gift helps strengthen the social safety net across Peel, Toronto and York Region connecting 1.8 million people to food, housing, employment, mental health support and other essential services. It also fuels United Way’s research, strategic leadership, advocacy and cross-sector partnerships that address the complex challenges of poverty and shape a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

To recommend a grant from your Donor-Advised Fund:

  1. Contact your Donor-Advised Fund provider
Log in to your account or speak with your advisor
  1. Search for United Way Greater Toronto
Our charitable registration number is 119278620 RR0001
  1. Recommend your grant
Choose your gift amount and submit

Your provider will review and distribute the grant based on your recommendation.
