Community Action Grants (CAG) support neighbourhood-based initiatives that respond to locally identified needs and priorities. Funded projects are community-informed and aligned with key priorities and actions outlined in local plans.
The following funding streams are available:
- Resident / Grassroots Group projects (1–6 months), with grants from $5,000 to $20,000
- Agency projects, with grants ranging from $25,000 to $750,000
- Collaborative projects, with grants ranging from $50,000 to $100,000
Applications are now open for the 2026–2027 South Markham Community Action Grants and Cooksville Community Action Grants.
