UWGT’s Community Campaign is underway, with Greg Lemaich leading as Campaign Chair, and Jana Mosley and Dominique Barker leading as Co-Chairs of United Way’s Major Individual Giving Cabinet
June 3, 2026 (Toronto, ON) – As residents across the GTA continue to navigate rising living costs and unprecedented economic challenges, United Way Greater Toronto (UWGT) is committed to expanding community impact and collective action through this year’s Community Campaign
Greg Lemaich, President & CEO of Polar Asset Management Partners will lead as Campaign Chair, alongside Jana Mosley, President & CEO of Toronto Hydro and Dominique Barker, Corporate Director, who will serve as Co-Chairs of UWGT’s Major Individual Giving Cabinet.
“I was fortunate early in my career to have had mentors who impressed upon me the importance of giving back. They taught me that as your career grows, so does your responsibility to support the community around you. That lesson has stayed with me throughout my career, and as Chair, my focus is on building on the strong foundation laid by those before me by engaging first-time donors and young professionals in that same spirit of giving. The habit of giving is one of the most enduring things you can build over the course of a career, and few organizations have the ability to create community impact at the scale and depth that United Way Greater Toronto does.” – Greg Lemaich, President & CEO, Polar Asset Management Partners
“My experience with United Way of Calgary showed me firsthand how powerful it is when people come together to care for one another. Stepping into this role now as Co-Chair of UWGT’s Major Individual Giving Cabinet is a chance to build on that spirit – supporting the frontline work that helps our communities feel seen, supported and hopeful. I’m thrilled to team up with United Way and continue creating a GTA where everyone can have the opportunity to thrive.” – Jana Mosley, President & CEO, Toronto Hydro
“At a time when the world can feel increasingly disconnected, it’s more important than ever to support our neighbours and ensure everyone has access to basic services. United Way’s commitment to alleviate poverty by helping to build strong, inclusive neighbourhoods – where everyone can get what they need to live with dignity and joy – continues to inspire me. I’m honoured to once again work with United Way during this year’s Community Campaign to ensure that our communities remain connected and cared for.” – Dominique Barker, Corporate Director
“As we begin a new campaign year, I’m excited to welcome Greg Lemaich and Jana Mosley, and to welcome back Dominique Barker, to lead our 2026 Community Campaign. They are outstanding civic champions and supporters. Their leadership and commitment will help strengthen communities across the GTA.” – Heather McDonald, President & CEO, United Way Greater Toronto
Lemaich, Mosley and Barker will help lead United Way Greater Toronto’s 2026 Community Campaign, focusing on tackling poverty across the GTA. The campaign sets out a bold 10-year vision to address the root causes that keep people stuck in a cycle of poverty. Through our ground-breaking research, public policy and advocacy work, and our strong partnerships with communities, corporations and government, United Way plans to expand its impact across the GTA. One key initiative supporting that goal is our Community Real Estate (CRE) Initiative which will invest $100 million in permanent space for nonprofits, build 10 new community hubs by 2035, help stabilize essential services and build stronger, more resilient neighborhoods where prosperity is accessible to all.
