United Way is filling funding gaps, ensuring local organizations can build capacity and meet the unique needs of the communities they serve.
United Way is fighting poverty’s UNIGNORABLE issues, focusing on communities in Peel, Toronto and York Region as well as strengthening organizations that are Indigenous, Black and equity-led, focused and serving.
These are challenging and uncertain times. But the research is clear and consistent. The stronger the sense of connection—local people working together in a united way—the more resilient the community.
