Request for Proposals: Connected Communities: Literature review, content analysis and report writing

With generous support from TD, United Way Greater Toronto (UWGT) is working on a multi-city, collaborative initiative (Connected Communities Conversations) with Centraide of Greater Montreal, United Way Calgary and Area, United Way Centraide Canada, United Way Greater Toronto, United Way Halifax and United Way of the Lower Mainland. As part of the initiative, community discussions will take place across five Canadian municipalities to understand the current state of community connections, exploring various opportunities, challenges as well as impacts, and considering solutions to further connectedness in communities.

United Way Greater Toronto (UWGT) is inviting qualified consultants with experience in the community and voluntary sector and in-depth research and/or evaluation knowledge to conduct an analysis of qualitative data gathered through a series of national community conversations on the subject of community connections, conduct a literature review on the subjects of social cohesion, social capital and social isolation, and author a report based on the findings.
